Here is an anti-drug public service announcement from 1986 starring (the rather intense) baseball hall-of-famer Mike Schmidt of the Philadelphia Phillies. It was part of "The Big Lie" anti-cocaine campaign, which ultimately was part of the "Say No to Drugs" campaign started by Nancy Reagan.

@rayjr62 Well, in truth Hernandez didn't have his career hurt by coke. He went on to have a solid career after giving up the nose candy. Dale Berra, on the other hand . . . well, coke didn't hurt his career because he was never anything as a player to begin with. When Dale was with Pittsburgh, he was voted the worst starting shortstop in the majors - TWICE! I did indeed forget U.L. Washington. Thanks, Ray!
