Undoubtably the greatest squash player of all time and probably the greatest ever sportsman. Jahangir was unbeaten for over 51/2 yrs playing on the squash grand prix circuit. During that time the vast majority of games were won 3-0 or 3-1. Oh, there's also a small matter of 10 consecutive British Opens to his name. The word 'unbelievable' is used far too often these days - but this guy really was the business.

he is the greatest sportsman of all times and what did the pakistanis do? they made Imran khan the sportsman of the century under whose captaincy, pakistan won only one cricket world cup.
its a shame.

at a very young age it was declared by the doctors that jehangir khan cannot play any sports he is too weak for it......LOL.... he became the best squash player the history of this game has ever seen .... and i really doubt if they would ever see in next 100 years a player like the great Khan

Very close to my heart. This man has always been my favourite.

the greatest squash player of all time he was a true legend

Roshan khan was the finest stroke player in the history of squash. Had it not been for the family code of letting elders win, he would have won several British Opens himself. Instead he had to hand them over to elder cousins like Hashim, Azam, etc. By Jahangir's time, such nonsense had been done away with, fortunately for Pakistan squash.

I had the honor and pleasure to meet Jehangir a few times, train with his trainer, play with his brother and his nephew and spend time with his father. What a humble person and a humble family. He remains the best sportsman ever as far as I am concerned

lol one thing he don't know how to loose :D

Just listen to that crowd roar after he plays his final shot and the commentator exclaiming "Yeees". Epic.
I hope my future son or daughter will be the world number one in squash or tennis. I am crazy about these two games.

His initial squash training with his cousin Rehman Khan was primarily based in London. Which city you are talking? Lucky that you met him!!! One of my dreams of my life to do something about Pakistan Squash so that the World Champion Title go back where it belongs!!!

He dominated his era. That is what you mean. But if you had JK playing at his peak vs any of the top 10 today at their peak, he would lose. Same with all sports. The bar gets raised.

How many of the current ten peak players have a consistent performance like JK for a record of 555 unbeaten matches in a row, and ten times British Open Champion. He defeated all peak and world class opponents of his time. Because of his so-called "Domination" for such a long time and the quality he maintained, his name is in the Record's Book.
There is no doubt about it!!! He is the King...
