Wampler Super Ecstacy

By far my favorite pedal right now. I don't vary the settings here, I keep them where I play them the most. I'm using a Fender MIM Strat through a Vox AC30cc head.

Really nice. I just picked up an AC30cch. Have you had any reliability issues with yours? I picked mine up used on ebay in great shape. The previous owner thought it was a basket case, turned out to be a mains fuse blowing due to a bad rectifier tube. Been good ever since. I have a pile of amps in my basement, this is my fave at this point. I have a cool old V15 that was modded by Mark Sampson years ago, he put his trannies in it. Not very loud though, but nice tone even with SS rec.

@tatsandteles Thanks, tats! I love my AC30cch. I bought her used last year at Guitar Center. She has been a workhorse for me, with NO RELIABILITY ISSUES. I have heard others with similar issues that you faced. A buddy of mine has the AC30cc Combo amp, and he bought it used and it was dead. But a tech fixed it pretty easily and told him, "Don't use the amp's standby feature. It is not needed. Just turn the amp on." Sounds like you are a gearhead like me with all your amps. Keep rockin!

I agree! That opening clean riff sounds amazing! IMO, it sounds better than the Ecstacy, but probably proably because of the camera. I've never played a Wampler but if all of Nashville's pros are using them then they have to be good!

@Ncuab Thanks for commenting! This pedal really opens up at band volume levels, that's where I love it. But this youtube of mine is kinda lame due to the low quality of the mic on the camera. Oh well...

@SimonSlowsher Good point, I forgot to mention that! The Vox is set with the channel blend activated. So I'm using both the normal channel and the boost channel. From left to right:

Normal volume: 10:00

Top Boost volume: 10:00

Top Boost treble: 14:00

Top boost bass: 15:00

Master Tone cut: 10:00

Master volume:10:00

@jriverband Hey, thanks for the comment. Yeah, I could do a little blues demo sometime. The Strat and Vox actually sound great without any pedals. I shoulda thought of that...

Thanks, man. Yeah, this combination Vox/Strat is my fave. The AC30 has to be heard "in person" to really be appreciated. My little fLip cam doesn't capture all the great tone...

Love what you played in the intro.  This amp sounds amazing on a strat !
