Wedding Dress Makes Guinness Book of Records

Another record has been entered into the Guinness Book of Records. This time its not for an athletic feat, but for a stylish one.
No-one has bought it yet but this wedding dress is already proving to be a tourist attraction in Romania.

With a train measuring 1579 meters - that's 217 meters longer than any other - it's no surprise many people are keen to see it.

[Mihai Ghenus, Wedding Exhibition Organizer]:
"We have succeeded in putting Romania in the Guinness Book of Records once more, this time with the longest wedding dress train."

The dress is on display at Bucharest's E-marriage festival.

It was designed by Oana Comanescu and it took 25 people 30 days to make it.

It cost more than 4,000 dollars and is studded with 7,000 Swarovski crystals.

Brides-to-be haven't yet had the chance to buy the dress.

And anyone interested may have to do so without trying it on first.

It's being sold through an Internet auction later this week and it comes with a warning - anyone wearing it will need an extra-long stretch limo to get to the church and hundreds of bridesmaids to get up the aisle once you reach it.
