you don't have much room left in the dropouts if the nuts aren't tight, you're gonna hurt yourself.
-
How have you made a fixed without a race hub?

Very nice video set. You did a great job on this bike, and it's nice to see creativity for doing this without specialized tools.

You can't even do a paint job right...
-
you spelled paint wrong
-
you are so fucking stupid why not just remove the rear freewheel and replace it with a fixed cog eventually the jb weld is gunna break off from to much stress
-
@Positron57 thats stupid, front brakes give you 70% of the stopping power. much better to have a front brake compared to a back brake. Oh and btw the correct term for 'bicyclerepairman' is bike mechanic...
-
suicide hubs are super sketch... would no reccomend
-
what kind of bike is that????
-
@Midnightgroover cuz hes gangster
-
@Positron57 i guess your right... haha i quit fixie thouugh.. :(

I woked as bicyclerepairman before, and you wouldn´t belive the stupid shit people do for example to save a few bucks.
Seriously, the one thing you need to build a fixie is a proper backwheel.
And also If you are not used to riding without a brake; would adwise people to have a back break instead of a front one.
is that bike still working perfect? me and my friend are building fixies and i just want to know? btw that looks really cool

@doctorandrewmorgan yes it is. i had to change the axle on the rear wheel once because it got bent. i used a mountain bike axle and its been fine since.

how do you make your bike chain tighter ?
MRshakalohawaii 1 year ago
@MRshakalohawaii
(uploader) first i cut my chain to fit towards the smaller
size. then i pull on the rim to pull the slack out
of the chain while keeping the wheel centered.
