Yael Eckstein took this moving video of Jewish girls dancing and singing on the Promenade, overlooking the entire city of Jerusalem, while celebrating the Ethiopian holiday of Sigd. The holiday of Sigd symbolizes the exiled Ethiopians yearning to be reunited with the Jewish people and the land of Israel and that is why it was so powerful for me to see these new immigrants from Ethiopia dancing together with native Israelis, singing a love song about Jerusalem. This video encompasses the prophecy of ingathering of the exiles. How magical and biblical that this year the Ethiopians- one of the lost tribe descending from the tribe of Dan - are celebrating this holiday of Sigd in the land of Israel, thanks to IFCJ.

Song Translation: We pray to the guardian of Israel every new day with all of our hearts peace in Israel. I believe in complete faith in the coming of Messiah in Israel, the land of love. Every day that arrives, I know it is coming; love of Israel -my soul. I believe with complete faith in the coming of Messiah in the Land of Israel, the land of love. Every day that arrives, I know its coming, a love for Israel my soul.
