what motherboard does the 701 run? or what can it be upgraded to? my mobo died out on me and i need a new one, your help would be appreciated, thanks a lot

zomg thermal tape. You would think that they would use regular thermal paste since it works better than the tape!!!!

surf is a lower model than the one that doesn't have "surf" in its model name. Usually it means that a web camera + carry sleeve are not included

out of curiosity, how hard would it be to change the motherboard, maybe not on this laptop, but on a much larger one, say, alienware m9700? Ive been told it's next to impossible, but what do you think? you seem like you know what you're doing.
