Ahhhh, so peaceful, beautiful. Those little babies are sweet. I'm trying really hard not to think about some knuckle-dragging thick-skulled genitally-challenged moronic hunter coming along with some high-powered gun. Until that time, life is beautiful.

Hiya, Ginger!
What a beautiful backyard, and charming friends, you have :)

A beautiful thing to wake up to! I love my mornings and find much pleasure throughout the day if I'm at home - lots of living going on at my home as well. Thank you for the wonderful invite and a pleasure meeting you. Mark

@Maysey1 Thanks Mark. I do feel blessed having this right outside my door. I can sit on the elevated deck & the birds are literally landing on my bare toes & twittering at me in the summertime. I just recently had a young pair of foxes as visitors for awhile too, but wasn't able to get any good video of them. They're pretty swift little critters. =)
Loved your vid too btw!

Those two little deer are so cute! I bet you have been able to watch them grow up right infront of you having them visit your yard like that. It sounds like you have a very active backyard! I wish I lived close to the woods like that myself... Great video!

Thanks MMN - yes I did watch them both grow into beautiful does & I'm hoping I can do it every year. The yard is really active because there's nothing behind those woods but meadow, so everything feels pretty safe living there. And I provide different foods throughout the year which guarantees visitors.
It really is nice to have the woods here - I think you get a better appreciation for nature living this close.

Yeah me too, gilliangirl. I suspect that's what happened to their mom as well. I can only look after them while they're here & then after that, it's fingers crossed they stay safe.

I think so too, Butter sis. =) I've watched these little girls grow since they were orphaned as wobbly little things. They get plenty of deer corn here.
