@damo3805 Loved these days, too, damo (although was one of the rare Saturdays of the season when there was a split round and thus only two games on the Saturday in Melbourne).

For a small player, Brad Gotch made a big impact.

And for that Bradley Gotch wins $100!

Great days. 5 or 6 games in Melbourne on a Saturday. Flinders street was awash with colour as footy fans trekked off to Princes park , Victoria Park, The G , Western Oval & more! After the Game the front bar at Y & J's was packed with fans analysing Bosustow's mark, Daicos' goal, Dipper's shirtfront. Then World of Sport on Sunday, eating baked beans on toast and watching the footy panel with Jack, Lou, Bob and Sammy. Thanks for this great memory mate.

Won 1 out of the first 9 games and still made the finals in 1984. Even this day they were soundly beaten and still won the goal of the day and mark of the day. Came out the next week and beat top of the ladder Hawthorn!! Fitzroy was an enigma. The Fitzroy spirit lives on!!!

Fabulous! Hawthorn feasting on Richmond at VFL Park, and Fitzroy taking on Essendon at Windy Hill. This, I truly love!
