The Singing Ringing Binging Plinging Tinging Plinking Plonking Boinging Tree was a parody of a real-life series called The Singing Ringing Tree (Das singende, klingende Bäumchen in it's native German), which was bought by the BBC and shown in the 60's and 70's,and dubbed into English. Still one of the weirdest childrens programmes ever shown.
