National Dizzy & Balance Center (NDBC) was incorporated in August 2004 in Edina, MN. The clinical and business model was first developed by Kenneth Ginkel in 2004-2005 during his graduate program at the University of St. Thomas. From the time this clinical concept was first developed, Ken's vision for the business was to provide the very best patient care at every aspect of the treatment process for dizziness and balance disorders.

In alignment with Ken's vision, on June 1st 2005, NDBC acquired "Minnesota Dizziness and Balance Clinic P.A.", previously known as "The Fall Prevention Center". The medical program at Minnesota Dizziness and Balance Clinic P.A had been continuously developed over the previous five years and now NDBC could invest additional resources into this newly formed company to truly make NDBC recognized as the one of the most advanced outpatient diagnostic testing and treatment facilities in the United States for the treatment of dizziness and balance disorders.

National Dizzy & Balance Center is now one of the few facilities in the United States that combines physician care, diagnostic testing, and rehabilitation all within each location. Before NDBC, many patients had to been seen by multiple specialists at multiple locations, causing inconvenience for patients and inconsistent treatment results. The combination of these specialties in one facility has lead to better patient outcomes, lower costs, and more convenience for the patient.
