  • This is one of my favorites from this album. My brother bought this 8 track in 1976 (I was 11) and we listened to it over and over. In the early 80's, he went new-wave and gave his pesky little sister (me) all his "old" 70's music, and I still have it (this 8 track included). How pathetic am I? lol I had a great childhood, and I guess it's a connection. What's even better is it still works (last I checked, about 15 years ago) Anyone have an 8 track player I could borrow? :D

  • Could I interest you in a Victrola?

  • A total classic from Leftoverture!!! This is a good song! I've seen this live a few times and it's very inspiring!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • You're welcome.

  • wow, you're really pumping out the Kansas videos man... I'll make sure to 5 star and favorite all of them :P And at the same time I can contribute to the view count.

  • Yeah my objective is to expose as many people as possible to anything Kansas that isn't "Carry On" or "Dust"! Not that there's anything wrong with those 2 songs but a vast majority of people only know Kansas from those and we both know Kansas is way more than that! Why don't you send me a small list of some of the live stuff you have and from what timeframe or tours they are from?! Check you later!

  • @dennispfoley I'm sure you probably gonna reject my opinion, but I was never the religious one. I'm definetly more of an agnostic non-practicing Catholic. It always bugs me when people have to use the bible to control their every day life. Mankind wrote the bible, not God. I'm sorry but sometimes I can't recogize myself as a child of God when all I see is all these radical christians spreading homophobic hate when God is really supposed to be about love and caring.

  • @MnMSlayer5 Ya know what the best thing is, I grew up on Kansas and learned my drums from practicing to Phil Ehart. Even better than that is that Kerry Livgren and I , along with Dave Hope, all became Born Again Christians. Kerry and I both became Christians in 79 or 80. When I saw them in Omaha in 80 he had cut his hair short. A little ol lady pointed out to me that the Bible says "it is a shame for a man to have long hair" I made the same choice and my hairs been short since then

  • Great drumming by Phil!

    Awesome vocals. Long live Kansas!

  • The part from 1:42-2:20 is simply majestic !

  • Agreed.

  • LOL!!

  • I want too young to really enjoy all there glory, but I did go to there concert when I got a car, drove myself to the venue. My first concert at 16. I was glowing for days ...never forget those days
