Jews of Ethiopia

A Jewish Federation Mission to Ethiopia in 2007 when a delegation of local community members traveled to Ethiopia and Israel to witness the plight of the Ethiopian Jews. The Jewish Federation Annual Campaign helps fund the needs of Ethiopian Jews in Israel as they are integrating and being absopred by the mainstream society. We can't do it alone, we can only do it with the continued support of our donors. So, Thank-you.

Wow - this was extremely moving and emotional for me to watch, but at the same time INCREDIBLE and I thank you for sharing the video with the entire community. @sutaren it s not impressing cuz the torah was the first book, ppl shud not be suprised that there r obviously so many jews from different cultures. u shud read about african history, nubians/abbyssinians were among the first cultures to follow judaism.

@sutaren You are right. Sephardic Jews have the oldest Jewish tradition and culture still preserved. Also, they look like the Jews 3500 yrs ago with light brown and olive skin. I'm a Sephardic Jew and in America people are surprised to see a light brown skin Jew like me. WHAT? Yes, because many Jews here are ashkanazi Jews. But this turkic kazar story is BS. Many Jew haters say ALL ashkanazi have converted from kazars. NOT ALL. Many Jews came from mid east and intermarried. DNA shows 50%.
