I always wonder how spins work on inline wheels.. is there a rocker where there's curvature of the wheel frame, and you balance on one or two wheels while spinning?
Just curious, because it always seems like roller skaters have bigger spin circles, which would indicate that they spun on all four wheels?

Thanks. Saw your videos. You are very good. Really like the layback spin!!

except for the high wraps I realy like your style. your jumps are big and your spins smooth. good for you. keep the good work up!

@horselover11051105
I originally learned to figure skate on wheels (rollerskates), so inlines are close.....I also skate on ice (all the time now that the roller rinks are closed.) I like inlines best. I think it is easier to spin on ice, but harder to jump. But at least ice has adult competitions so if I want to compete again I don't have to skate against teenagers (how embarrassing at my age!!) I skate ISI. USFS has too many tests.... :-(

@Nany1707figureskater
Thanks!! :-)
I had to switch to ice because there aren't any roller rinks close enough to practice freestyle....The skatepark is just too hard to use for practice (rain, puddles, worms, bees, and the skateboarders use oil on the ramps that gets on the cement)...
So I am on ice too now.....

I think that you are really great! Do you have any tips on spinning or back crossovers?

For spins, checkout my video Artistic Skatepark: Spins. I explain how to do some spins on that video.
As for back crossovers. Hard to say unless I see you skate.....But in general, make sure that you are bending your kness DEEPLY and checking with arms/shoulders (that is, keeping them lifted and in correct position at shoulder level). Make sure to hold your arms steady and strongly. If your upper body is sloppy, it will throw you off balance. Also, try to keep your head up and back straight
