February 6th, 2010 - Ian La Rue

Ian La Rue and the Condor just released their new album A History of Layers officially on February 12th, 2010. Last weekend though, Ian invited us into his home for a pre release party. We enjoyed snacks prepared by him and his family, wine, home made beer, and the company of his two very large, but adorably friendly dogs.

He did a solo set of his new album, with loop pedals and keyboard "drum machines." It was awesome. I forgot that I had my camera with me until the encore. Even though he fumbles over some words in it, he is just so talented. And did you see that mustache? Heart throb!
