Karei Naru Ichizoku - Main Theme (edit)

In efforts to raise awareness of this most excellent television series, I have taken 5 choice minutes from the Main Theme to Karei Naru Ichizoku and placed against them 34 images from the first seven episodes. These images are meant to be non-spoiler and minimal-spoiler, so don't complain saying I selected the wrong pictures to get people excited. If I showed them the absolutely best parts, it'd spoil the whole series, now wouldn't it? :p

I hope you enjoy this, and I hope it gets you to look into the first episode and possibly the entire series.

2008 08 03 update: thank you for the kind words! I hope visitors to this page recommend Karei Naru Ichizoku to friends and family alike. I hope one day soon we will see quality J-dramas available for purchase in stores around the world and not just in Japan.

I finished watching this series this morning and I loved it so much! Loved the ending, it really surprised me! I also just read your review on a forum and then I realised that you're also the person who made this video. Watching this video without spoilers and hearing the music was great! I would probably have watched this series anyway because I'm a huge Kimura Takuya fan, but I'm so glad I watched it now. I recommend this series to everyone!

I always worry that this video is too boring (given the exciting nature of the drama!), but I can't show the best parts or else I'd spoil half the magic for people watching it for their very first time. And my primary goal remains spreading the word about this wonderful television program and getting more people to watch it. I still hope that one day we might see it available for purchase in our home countries with domestic subtitles.

No need to ask, it's always on top of my head whenever asked for a recommendation or my top favorites. The writing is brilliant, the acting is solid, and the production is amazing that it nurtured and maximized the potential of the story and of its cast. I love and adore Kimura, but this is the first drama that totally blew me away not because of his hotness but because of his talent in acting. Just remembering the story makes me teary-eyed already. As I said before, its impact lingers.

Just listening to this music brings so many conflicting emotions in me. It was an incredible experience watching this drama. Got to admit by the end of the last episode my family couldn't recognize me cos of how much my eyes puffed up due to tears. Thanks for the video.

Definitely one of the best dramas I've ever watched. The actors, the sets used, and the music made the whole series seem like one long movie instead of separate episodes.
