The new Invacare Perfecto2 Oxygen Concentrator is the smallest, lightest, quietest and most energy efficient 5 liter oxygen concentrator ever produced by Invacare. Packaged in a contemporary, patient preferred design, the high performance Perfecto2 Invacare Oxygen Concentrator incorporates all of the best features of the market leading Invacare Platinum XL oxygen concentrator, while significantly improving upon key specifications. Available with or without the SensO2 oxygen sensor, the Invacare Perfecto2 Oxygen Concentrator represents a quantum leap forward in the evolution of Invacare oxygen concentrators.
The Respironics EverFlo Oxygen Concentrator is a 5 liter per minute stationary oxygen concentrator. Until now, oxygen concentrators have been very similar in design with heavy, bulky and noisy characteristics, frequently requiring maintenance. But the EverFlo Oxygen Concentrator from Respironics is a unique oxygen concentrator that delivers the features homecare providers want and patients deserve. The Respironics EverFlo Oxygen Concentrator has been designed with a unique set of features to lower the costs of providing oxygen therapy while maintaining ease of use.
The exclusive design of the Respironics oxygen concentrator allows the EverFlo to reduce operating costs. The new smaller and sleeker design of the Respironics EverFlo Oxygen Concentrator is lightweight and easy to store or transport, weighing only 31 lbs. The EverFlo Oxygen Concentrator is simple for patients to use and maintain.
Both Concentrators are Homefill compatible.
Both combined own about 85% of the stationary concentrator business in the market and I will have to believe that based on the history of these machines, the Invacare one will last a little longer. Probably getting over 35,000 hours is not unheard of with the Invacare machine but we do not have the history of the newer model versus the old Invacare Platinum.

The Invacare Perfecto has added the Whisper to combat the quietness of the Q which is almost identical in the sound or Decibel level. Invacare has been known for years as the machine that isn't the prettiest but it is the most durable and longest lasting. To answer your question, you cannot go wrong with either one.

The reason why is there is a reason why the big publicly traded National Companies like Lincare and Apria for insurance purposes and costs use only these 2 machines. This is because of the proven record that they both have out in the field. What I can promise you based on thousands that we have out there is you are guaranteed a 20,000 hour chance at 99.999% that nothing will happen to your machine. The main difference is the Q
