  • Kettlebells are no more dangerous than any other type of exercise. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Kettlebells are used in patient rehabilitation by many corrective specialists and medical professionals. And it's kettlebells, not kettle balls. Learn the truth before you spout off.

  • Before you dismiss something you should try it or learn about it. Or just stay on the machine, BTW the kettlebell has been around for 300 years!

  • Fitness has been refined? Yes it has. It has created people going into their new temples of fitness who cannot even compare in fitness to even the smallest gireviks or powerlifters.

    If you do a curl wrong and hurt yourself, it is your fault.

    If you do a kettlebell exercise wrong it is as well your fault for not understanding its dynamics.

    Kettlebells are a great tool that has be to understood and respected like all iron.

    It is not the iron, but humans and their hybris that gets them hurt.

  • Kettlebells aren't very dangerous. There is a risk of injury just like there is in most exercise forms, but it's a small risk. You can injure yourself just as much (if not worse) during a squat, deadlift or benchpress.

    Squats, deadlifts and variations of cleans or snatches are quite "primitive" by the way, and yet they're probably the most effective strength exercises one can find.

  • Your ignorance is truly monumental. I agree that many exercises can be dangerous; heck, even yoga can cause serious injuries. You, however, are just an insecure know-it-all practicing bad grammar. I see from your profile that you do some form of martial arts? Somehow this makes you an expert in fitness, and kettlebells specifically? I believe you are exaggerating your knowledge of kettlebell training simply to make people believe you are an expert. I won't waste my time more with you.
