Let's take a tour of my G Scale Garden Railroad.
We start by riding an ALCO S4 unit around the mainline. We see a Conrail GP unit pulling a few freight cars and we get to see a lot of the plants.
The round trip takes over two minutes. Sorry for the little video hiccup part way through, I'm not sure what caused this.
After this ride we check out the new switch I just installed. This connects my long straight passing siding to the mainline near the top of the hill. I will soon replace the switch at the other end of the siding with a similar larger switch, but I wanted to show you both for comparison.
This is the very first train ever to run the whole length of this siding, or to use this new switch.
Thanks for watching - lots more videos are planned for more nice days like this to enjoy the trains.
