My take on Tyranids in Dawn of War II. If they appear, and why they should or shouldn't.

Edit: When I say "I haven't played-" I accidentally say Tau, instead of Dark Eldar.

  • Hey bro, great review video, you pointed out lots of interesting facts.

So how come making a Chaos review for the fan?

    yes no maybe? lol

  • @BaalBlade

Been too busy playing the game ;)

  • Tyranids are officially in Dawn of War. MiC got served.

  • Yes, but atm they are not the most dangerous/threatening. There is only 1 world between the imperium of man and a realm of chaos: cadia. If cadia falls (it wont, i can bet on it) there would be no logical reason to stop chaos from creating a realm of chaos in the Wh40k galaxy.....'nuff said

  • What he said still stands, and he actually has the last laugh now that Dawn of War 2 has concluded. The game has been revealed to be unfairly designed around Space Marines, with cover mechanics, level up mechanics, squad preservation mechanics, 3 heroes on each team, the only faction of which that doesn't have any heroes that aren't simple promoted versions of lower-ranked commanders and captains.

  • Everyone is getting but hurt about what this guy has to say when what he is saying is true.

  • rage

  • I wish they hadn't cut the Tau out of the game because they were my favorite. I probably wont play the new game for that reason.

And yet you still have yet to reply to my remark that they didn't have characters when this video was made. Interesting. You see the personal attacks on me in your remarks are rather more childish than my own response, I do say that realizing that it makes me look a fair share less mature as well may I add? Effectively, they didn't have characters, and the fact they now do is contrived. Sooo... Yea.

And fyi, I actually like every other race in current 40k. So GFY.

  • @purpleSun6292 The are called the Hrud.

  • @Lanparth Exactly how every immature self-centered child views the world. Anything that does not interest him is boring, unimaginative and should be removed so everyone can focus on the things he likes alone or he will throw a tantrum, and video it. A child who doesn't understand the world contains more points of view than just what he likes. Every disliked race is boring an unimaginative to such children. By extension all Games Workshop is stupid to such children who like other games.

  • @lnqusitor

    where sir? where?

  • @lnqusitor

And in my own not so humble opinion they still don't fit. I'd say they are boring, unimaginative, and up until the latest codex was released, didn't have any real characters. And even then, the way they make characters now is extremely contrived. The "Swarm Lord" didn't exist when this video was made. And Hive Tyrants weren't sentient, when this was made.

And the fact that they are now, doesn't enhance them at all.

  • @purpleSun6292 Skaven are in the 40k universe.
