Nick was sprawled across the couch in his hotel room, sipping at a can of red bull as he flipped through the channels on his TV. He was anticipating his dinner.
Not because that means he'd get to harass Miley again.
Pfft.
The past week for Nick had consisted of rehearsing, being caught smoking, doing damage control for the smoking and... Ordering more food than necessary for the sake of seeing Miley.
It wasn't that he liked her, it had just become quite the hobby to tease the way she liked him. Even though she'd never admit it, he knew she so wanted him. SO wanted him.
A smirk flashed across his face at the thought of her long tan legs poking out of the shorts she wore when she was too lazy to wear her uniform. The way her little nose scrunched up in aggravation when she was being scolded by the manager for not wearing her uniform. She was cute when she was angry or frustrated, Nick had decided. So he'd come to the conclusion that angry Miley = happy Nicholas.
But all jokes aside, through all the teasing he'd also learned some new things about this girl who'd jumped into his life and managed to take over his thoughts. Like the fact that she hated tight shirts, rarely ever wore her hair up and she didn't believe in relationships.
So maybe he listened to her when she spoke. But he still didn't like her. After all, he was Nicholas Jonas and Nicholas Jonas doesn't like girls. He's liked by girls.
When Miley told him she didn't like tight shirts he'd responded by telling her it was probably because her boobs were so uneven and she'd responded to that by asking why he was examining her boobs.
She always won.
Nick jumped at the sound of knocking at his door and put his can of red bull down before hopping up off of the couch. He cleared his throat as he adjusted the grey muscle shirt he was wearing with a pair of faded jeans and made his way tot he entrance. He glanced at himself in the mirror and ran a hand through his hair to flatten it out before opening the door.
"Hiya!"
Who the hell was this chick?
Nick's eyes ran down the body of a plumpy looking girl with streaky blonde hair and lips painted a bright red color before snapping back to her face, "Who are you?" He asked almost immediately.
"I'm Brandi, Miley's sister." Brandi explained and placed her hands on her hips, "Didn't she tell you she was only filling in for a week?"
Nick's face fell when he heard the mushroom's words (hey, he's not shallow. She had that appearance). So Miley was gone? But she didn't even say goodbye... Maybe she was gonna come say goodbye to him later. Yes, that was it. She wouldn't leave without saying goodbye to Nick. I mean, she WAS in love with him. Right..?
"So where is she..?" Nick asked curiously and glanced over Brandi's shoulder as if expecting to find Miley there. Although if Miley was hiding behind Brandi, he'd for sure have spotted her already. Brandi was a mushroom, as we mentioned earlier.
"Home?" Brandi giggled slightly, "She's probably swimming in the sea of cash she got for being my fill in."
So maybe Nick was wrong after all... Maybe she wasn't gonna say goodbye.
