  • I am little disappointed by GW. I really, really wanted to get back into 40k, but when i saw their website, i was shocked. A Trygon costs AU$96. whereas, in America, it costs US$57. Considering the Australian dollar is actually stronger than the American one atm, this is simply ludicrous. Double the price when our currency is worth more? And dont tell me shipping costs, because i would gladly buy it in america and ship it, but i cant.

Needless to say, i am going to get into Warmachine/horde.

  • i had no idea what GW was till the Dawn of War game, DoW got me looking at the tabletop, but i didnt know where to start and the prices were a bit too high for a college student at the time. MWG gives battle reports to watch, how to play tutorials and how to terrain tutorials. MWG videos is what gave me the final push to get into 40k and is also where i made my first 40k purchase.

  • Screw GW i buy from my local store were i get a 5% discount or from a discount

  • You didnt get me into it but you keep me in it thank you MWG

  • They could put a 10/20% voucher in the starter box to help people get started. And some BLOODY GLUE :D

  • @soppingwetpussyhead4 They don't need to because at the moment, they hold a complete monopoly. So they're not going to do it and I think GW will milk this monopoly until it has completely dried up.

  • One Die....To Roll Them All...

  • it wud just be bloody nice if they stopped increasing prices and started doin some buy one get one free's!

  • i think GW needs to expand, im slowly getting into the hobby but the nearest shop is an hour away from me, and when i get there, i may not even get a game and when i do, due to so few boards around my and my opponent will get kicked off before we finish so others can have a go, so with all these price increases and reucing the places people can go to play, they should either build new stores or expand their current ones where ever possible

  • @TheVenomPhoenix Aye. Warmachine is better at the moment for monetary issues that GW has presented us wargaming Aussies with. Plus the 5th Chaos Codex is broke as hell, and the new FAQ is manure. And GW dare call us "freeloaders" I don't even think I'll be a customer to a company who thinks applying derogative insults and then slamming a face in our faces with a price increase. Dick move GW. Also kill Matt Ward.

  • i totally agree. i'm from Australia and i could easily just buy stuff from the internet for half the price but i dont because i support my local retailer. on another note is your shirt for sale.

  • @TheVenomPhoenix Good luck finding someone to play with.
