This is my first out-of-state snowboarding adventure and my first snowboarding trip to Lake Tahoe. I flew direct from Portland OR to Reno NV. I visited Heavenly, Northstar and I was supposed to go to Squaw Valley but a storm closed the main highway and I ended up taking another bus to Mt Rose. I arrived at Heavenly midday because the free shuttle that goes between South Lake Tahoe and the resort came late. My deck at the time was a 152 and it was a little too short for all the powder on this big mountain. On the way back leaving the resort, the free resort shuttle broke down forcing me to walk across town to the pick up point for the bus ride back to Reno.
You can see that I was at Northstar before all that condo construction.
The trip was partially successful. My old camcorder stopped working after Northstar due to moisture, a metal clip that holds the lace on my snowboard boot broke off, and there was a change of plan on the third day.
