FSU Chinese Ensemble - 沧海一声笑 (A Laugh on the Blue Sea)

I forgot to remind myself to take a program with me and this is the only song whose title I can't remember, but this was how they opened the concert. The main instrument is a traditional Chinese instrument called the Zheng and the drum is a Brazilian drum because FSU doesn't have the Chinese drum necessary for this piece.

Not a bad arrangement... surprisingly sounds better than it looks... the way some of them use their hands is very amateur, but then I expect most of the gwailos didn't touch a guzheng before they came to their university. The poetry at the end even has the right "literary" tone of voice that Chinese use when reading such things aloud.
