Marsona Marpac Sound Conditioner Spa White Noise Sleep for sale on eBay from BuyHereWorld. April 29, 2009. This is a vintage Marsona 1200 sound conditioner or sleep aid device by Marpac. The white noise simulates rain, waterfall, and surf. There is a knob to select between these sounds, as well as knobs to change the surf rate, surf range, tone, and volume. There is an onboard speaker, or the sound can be amplified (or run into effects pedals) through the 1/4" output. This would make a nice addition to any drone/noise musician's rig, or it can help you catch some Z's! It also makes a great project to bend, like this guy: "Custom noise circuit built into a Marsona 1200 "surf sound generator" enclosure. The circuit was made without a schematic for the purpose of making a racket! I used a Hex Scmitt and a couple of Transistor osc's together."
