Spears and Federline head back to court

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are reportedly set to appear in court today for a progress review. But according to a People magazine report, the hearing probably won't change the pair's custody agreement. The current arrangement allows Spears to go on monitored visits with her sons. Meanwhile, the pop star is laying low and prepping for her upcoming repeat appearance on "How I Met Your Mother."

Stars stepped out last night for the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Celebrities and top designers lined the red carpet at the event to celebrate the opening of a fashion exhibition called "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy." Attendees included Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, David and Victoria Beckham, and Giselle Bundchen and Tom Brady. Designer Donatella Versace was among the top names from the fashion world.

Scarlett Johansson showed off more than her dress at last night's gala. The actress and her boyfriend, 31-year-old Ryan Reynolds, are engaged, according to a People magazine report. Twenty-three-year-old Johansson revealed her ring for the first time last night. The two stars have been dating for more than a year. Johansson's rep tells People "they're both thrilled."

And Actress Angela Kinsey is a new mom. People reports "The Office" star gave birth to a baby girl this weekend. This is the first child for Kinsey and her husband, TV writer Warren Lieberstein. The 36-year-old actress and her new daughter, named Isabel Ruby Lieberstein, are reportedly doing well.

Meanwhile, Audrina Partridge is apparently looking to expand her acting repertoire. Partridge recently hired a new agent in preparation for a debut movie role. "The Hills" star's new rep, Jonathan Perry, tells E! News he also plans to place Partridge in more television roles if MTV gives the OK.
