Commodore Amiga - Rick Dangerous

Commodore Amiga classic from 1989 by Core Design.

Rick Dangerous is a solid Jump 'n' Run and for sure one of the most unfair games ever released. The player is only able to pass the levels when he/she knows where which trap might trigger, so for the first time you play a level, everything is just try-and-die ;) And even if you know the levels by heart, every little mistake might kill you -- there's a reason why you start with six lifes in this game.
And yet, Rick Dangerous is not a bad game: grapics and sounds are nice, the puzzles interesting and of course challenging. Truely a game which must be tamed by the player.

This video features the first level (South America) in one of the games' various graphic sets (Egypt, castle, military base).
