I dont like the interface

I do not deny that this device has good audio quality but saying "this device is on par with other more expensive hifi portable players" and "the other hifi players cost twice as much" is marketing BS and has no backbone as accurate refrences are not provided.
which other hifi portable device are you talking about?

my thoughts: 1) 16 gig internal is totally not enough for flac file library. 2) its nice that the microSD gets treated as one large space in addition to the 16 gig internal. 3) is it just me or is it really really sluggish.....

contemplating this or a hifiman
-
This is crap
-
its not as good as the Hifiman 801but its not that far behind it either. the Hifiman is just for audio and is darn good as any audiophile will tell you but this one is a good all around device for audio and video. also for the price (about $160 for the 16g) its second to none.

The front panel is also of a very high quality material which is very scratch resistant. The overall feel of the player is not cheap, its very, very nice.

You need to give Youtube more time to process the video to HD.
