In a few years a lot of people will be laughing about this crap and saying "Wow! Where'd all that money and time go?" While Al Gore sits in a corner counting all the money he made from all the silly people who bought his science fiction movie and bought carbon credits from him to turn down the heat. 1970s ice age predictions were predominantly media based. The majority of peer reviewed research at the time predicted warming due to increasing CO2.

A survey of peer reviewed scientific papers from 1965 to 1979 show that few papers predicted global cooling (7 in total). Significantly more papers (42 in total) predicted global warming (Peterson 2008).

Using the 1970 news articles is wrong. That is not what the scientist said or wrote. That is what the reporters reported to sell newspapers. It's a bunch of crap. Hundreds of articles were published warning of CO2 and global warming. Only a handful spoke of global cooling. However, in geological time periods, from 1970 to now, is less than an eyeblink. These global cooling warnings were correct then and are still correct now. The global chill down is happening.

first it was CFC's that cause the temps to increase (busted)

Then it was DDT's (Busted again)

Then the earth starting cooling so it changed to global cooling (or diming) (Busted again)

Now they say its increasing,but its actually decreasing temps...so the best name they came up with is climate CHANGE...

please understand that nature is the most awesome goddamn force on this planet...and to even suggest humans can interfere with that is just stupid. A Changing climate is natural.

You're forgetting that only 10% of carbon emissions can be attributed to us 6-ish billion humans. Most warming is caused by water vapor. Sea levels have risen. The US and some European countries are experiencing record snowfall.

The second to last statement I deduced from reading actual statistical data from actual scientific papers written, peer reviewed by actual scientists. The same scientists who are part of the group of 30,000 scientists denying that climate change is attributed to humans.

think about this - if global cooling was really the scientific consensus and now the facts show that we aren't cooling but instead warming, shouldn't this be worried. the fact that human behaviour is heating the planet when in a normal earth cycle we should be moving towards an ice age is perhaps a more reasonable worry than to not even think it exists. we should always be aware of what we are doing.
