We have benchmarked a standard 320Gb 2.5" SATA hard drive and a G-Skill Falcon SSD drive, neither drive was the OS drive so results are fairly reliable. The burst speed was better on the SATA drive but the performance of the SSD is incredible.

  • Thats wierd my burst speed was 365Mb but, avg was 150

    This was on a 1TB Sata 3 WD Cavier Black RPM

  • hehe... raiding 2 sata1 drives at raid0 for the moment.. supahfast.. thikning about raiding 2 ssd drives instead ^^
