hey, dont know if anyone can help me. when i try to import my rex (rx2) file into kontakt 4 it says:
could not load sample (unsupported format feature)
it works in the stand alone but not in the vst plug in in cubase. anyone know what to do?
kumitetom 1 year ago
@kumitetom not sure why that would happen. I would try to save your rex2 file again as a different file or reinstalling kontakt.

Cheers for the reply mate. I am just starting to learn Battery 3...how is Kontakt different from Battery. Can't figure that one out. Is Kontakt like Battery 3 but with more funtionality or are they completely different from each other?

They're quite different VSTs, Battery is built to be a drum sampler whereas Kontakt has functionality for overall sampling, sample patches.
I use Battery for drums/sfx/short samples/stabs, Kontakt for longer audio samples. This works best for me. Try both.

I've gotta add: Kontakt gives you much more control with things like timing & precise pitch control. Also, when dealing with chopped Recycle files, Kontakt has a really cool system that allows you to map Recycle slices to your keys, that's where the fun starts.

Can we assume that the sample was tempo matched to your project BPM before you started the video. Nice stuff, appreciate that you make it quick!

Yeah, it was matched using the pitch control in Kontakt sampler. pzz
