Roberto has lost his focus this year. He has been better in his career for sure but he his still in the top 5 for best goalies in the league.

The BEST goalie in the league......Mr Clutch in the playoffs and the FRANCHISE in Vancouver and lets not forget the Gold medal(which won single handely)2 years ago.... the Canucks need too score more they cannot contunie too rely on him too win the games on shear goaltending(Rogi Vochon and Gilles Moloche and the GREAT Dan Bouchard proved that years ago)...his best yeras are RIGHT NOW

@green67blink66 considering the canucks scored i think a total of 8 goals in the total round (credit to thomas and the boston defense) its difficult to say luongo was the worst player among the canucks. For all 3 vancouver wins he was the best player on the ice and for the losses he was as bad as the rest of the team. heck with an exception of maybe the hardnosed 3rd and 4th line (that did most of the scoring in the final round) luongo was the best player on the canucks in that round.

Finally ! The Canuck's are starting a goalie based on talent and ability and not on salary commitments . Schnieder has better lateral mobility, has quicker reflexes , tracks the puck better, smothers loose pucks better, quicker glove and leg saves,stays upright better . and he's improving ! Luongo peaked long ago and is in decline . SCHNIEDER IS ON THE UPSWING !

@Enragez If you check the scores on the games in the cup finals all the games the canucks won were just by one goal,Like 3 to 2 and 1 nothing stuff like that.all the games the bruin won were like 8 nothing and 4 nothing and 5 to 2.the boston goalie was able to keep the games close.luongo couldn't.think about the games we lost to the black hawks.he did not keep the games close at all.he' pretty much the reason why the canucks have a slow october every year.

I can spit out a ton of stats at u to make ur dumb ass understand it's not luongo's fault we lost the cup and that he IS in fact a good goaltender. I can understand ur frustration and I do share some of it, but it's so unfair to luongo the way people are treating him right now, and it's sooo wrong. Anyways... Canucks only scored 8 goals in 7 games in the finals. How can you even blame him for the canucks losing that series?

Hockey's a team sport & u cant fault lu entirely for losing the cup. Did you c how poorly the canucks played in front of lu for the games we lost in the finals? Lu wasn't great for those games, but the whole team was shitty. Lu had 2 shut outs in the cup finals. The team got shut out in game 7, u can't win w/o scoring. Learn the game b4 u run ur mouth

people who say luongo is good probably doesnt even watch hockey.the canucks backup always plays better games then him.and ppl who say loungo took them to game 7 of the finals is a dumb ass.the canucks made it that far.and if they had a different goalie they'd probably would have won.i love the canucks but i hate loungo for costing us a cup and pretty much causing a riot in the city.
