  • I have been looking at these videos and though he seems like a nice person we do not need guys who know nothing about running a small business . He uses the phrases "Small Business" "create Jobs" and "grow" but these are words from someone who has done nothing but Government work! Like Obama; they talk business but they have never funded, gone without and worked to make payroll. It is laughable. No more career politicians! Six terms is enough.

  • A true conservative does not vote for the Patriot Act. But otherwise, I am a big fan of Congressman Flake's fiscal positions.

  • @bittergunowner12 I am so happy about it. I said that 1 year ago. I've been a fan of Jeff's for a long time!

  • @JohnRhysMusician Hes running to replace Jon Kyl in 2012.

  • I'm a democrat and a liberal. I support the president and I would probably not vote for you against a progressive. But I gotta tell you I'm impressed with you and a few other GOP congressmen who are actually serious about doing something to reduce the deficit. Now I am probably bound to be disappointed by you cause you're gonna vote with your colleagues to repeal health care (which will increase the deficit) but I understand that's politics it's going nowhere. Keep up the good work congressman!!

  • One of my favourite Americans! A very principled freedom fighter.

  • Good job Jeff Flake!

  • Excellent commercial Congressman Flake. I think you have a bright future. I hope you consider running for Senate or for Governor! I have been watching you from Illinois for quite sometime and I hope you are able to have more influence as time goes on.

  • I'm not sure how rampant the corruption is, but I'm sure it's bad. Still, right now we don't have time to focus on the corrupting influences of lobbyists. Shutting down earmarks will take a very long, hard effort. We do not have time for that effort right now. That is something we need to do once we see we've gotten out of this nosedive.

If Jeff Flake believes this present world economic crisis has been caused by corrupt politicians, then I hope that is the first thing he says every time.

  • tr714 says:

You're missing the point! By stoppin earmarks for lobbyists you stop the fundraisers for the corrupt politicians that are sponsored by those same lobbyists. Stop the fundraisers stop the corrupt politicians. We must focus on attackin the disease instead of the symptom! Focusing on symptoms like healthcare and the economy misses the core issue which is corruption that is fed by lobbyists who puppeteer the protection of their interests with no regard for the American people as a whole.
