im gonna but the hurst short shifter in my 2007 v6 and i was wondering if you need to remove the drive shaft all the way or can i just remove it at the front end and just let it hang down? Because i am not planning on replacing the drive shaft.

@Spartan193069 It is possible to install the shifter without removing the drive shaft.
