  • I loved these SUV's, only the first generation though, I thought they looked nice and started up well, good on gas as well. First saw it on "American Beauty"

  • @talldude123 I remember I was in 4th or 5th grade when these came out, I remember going to an NJ Devils game and they were giving one of these away, at the time I wanted one in the worst way LOL.

  • What did you think of this vehicle?

  • @hondaftw1234 the interior quality isn't up to par with other luxury SUVs, like the BMW X3. I noticed on these, the buttons have the tendency to break off from the dash. I don't know how durable the engines are, but I haven't heard a lot of positive things about these vehicles.

  • @Fred924 Also,isnt the x3 newer than this 2000 model?and to me the x3 is a really pointless car...

  • @TheSoundzUK I meant to say X5. The X5 came out around the same time as this model....the ML was pretty much unchanged from 97 to 05. The X3 is actually pretty nice, it's not as big and bulky as the X5.

  • @Fred924 yeah but the x3 is a pointless car, what does it do? the ml did change drasticly... you just dont know this because you dont know what your talking about when it comes to the M Class if im honest.

  • @Fred924 Depends where u get it from, ours has done 150k miles and its never had anything wrong with the engine, fan belt has gone once or twice but thats it.everything has worked perfectly, except the window buttons have broke off but thats more down to people climbing over them and breaking them.the car is literally like a tank, awesome off road, fast cheap, tunable if you want etc

  • @Fred924 I thought they were pretty nice, at least the 1st gen, anything after that is so blah, especially since Mercedes has so many SUV's now.

  • That sure has a lot of warning lights!

  • Lots of gas in her! Starts well to!
