its a good legal hit, and who cares if its lidstrom hits are part of hockey you pansies. its just unfortunate lidstrom smacked his head against the glass, the kind that barely moves and is dangerous for players.

Lidstrom is one of the cleanest players in the NHL, he doesn't deserve to be hit. He never checks anyone. This was just a douche move

I'm sorry I know its hockey but most players respect a 40+ year old veteran like lidstrom and just wrap up. I'm not saying he's dirty for it but usually players don't hit Lidstrom type players

Lidstrom just got pinched, and Laperierre put his elbows up and didn't even look at the puck. That's why he got a beat down later in the game.
