Be warned for those planning to order this kit: When it comes down to feed the harness to each end of the dash, it is a definite squeeze and pain in the ass!

  • your video was a god send for me. i have been on forums and ive got the pdf instructions, but some of your simple work arounds and explanations saved me tons of time here. THANK YOU

  • @badz2363 Definitely makes me happy to know that it is providing help. :) You're welcome.

  • WHERE DID U BUY THESE, btw, I dont expect a reply.

  • @I2awInstinct You can buy these directly from the Subaru dealer. I think they run around 130 dollars?? Don't quote me on that.

  • is it just me or does that light cover your OBD2 scan port?

  • Nope, it's just you. :) it actually sits above the OB2 port.. so it isn't in the way at all.. However, you have to suspend the harness upwards so that the wires are not in the way of it.

  • @BlueAngelWRX Whats the best way I can talk to you about Subarus, I have some questions thanks.

  • excellent video - was easily able to install my illumination kit. Thanks! -Tony

  • @tbarnaby16 yea i hate cats too...

  • who is the music by ?

  • Another good video man. When snaking wires Ive always found it to be much easier to use the clothes hanger and push it through through reverse of the way you are going to pull the wire and then straighten the end of the hanger. Then overlap the wire a few inches on the hanger and electric tape it on. The pull the opposite end to pull it through. Thats the way I did it when running audio cable through my doors... Just my 2cents though. More than one way to skin a cat.
