*****watch the new version, way better than this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5b56vm9a8c This is the fender deluxe player's stratocaster , it's made im Mexico , but it is still very good , in MY opinion , in the same level of an american Standard Strat. It has an ASH body , and it's upgraded with US Made Fender Vintage Noisless Pups. Some say it is crappy but they are really nice . Eric clapton uses it on his guitars .

  • That's the weirdest Strat I've ever heard. Sounds like UFO's. I've actually just bought one, the transparent blue which looks great with the ash. I have short fingers and it is the easiest strat I've ever played. I have a 57 RI but the 7.25" radius is really hard for me to play but the 12" is amazing. Gold hardware looks great with blue, Great value for money.

  • @peyoteblues i love this guitar , it plays nice and sounds amazing!

  • okay so ive been looking at getting either this deluxe players strat or a standard strat (MIM). I'm mainly looking for a John Mayer/SRV type tone (you know the whole chunky bluesy rythm pickup type deal). which guitar is best for this tone does anyone know???

  • @nafskwahaes73wbc The deluxe is better for you , overall , it's a better guitar

  • most MIM strats of today are just as good as most MIA strats when it

comes to craftmanship. i would buy a MIM strat just as fast as a MIA strat

because the MIMS are that Good!!!!

  • @vitinhotheguitarman

ok so if it was a choice of a standard American Stratocaster and this guitar what would be your choice???

  • @vinnieIbz the american made strats have better woods and pass throught a better quallity control , so the chance to find some deffect on an american strat is very low..ive played my guitar and several american standards, and there is no big difference in how it feels ....for exemple , when you compare an epiphone with a gibson , the gibson feels much better . With this fender and an american one the difference is very little

  • @vitinhotheguitarman

But I mean most Mexican Strats are not dodgy but not as good quality as the standard American. Would you say this is just as good as an American?

  • Awesome instrument. I got one identical to it in September. It was recommended to me by Billy Crain from The Outlaws. He also has the exact same one as this. Usually not big on red guitars but the transparent crimson red looks sweet & I also prefer ash strats to alder. Worth every penny.

  • @nafskwahaes73wbc I have this same guitar and it will provide awesome blues tone as well as any other type of tone from classical, jazz, blues, rock or mteal. Thanks to the Noiseless pickups. I wondered why they sounded so hot. I learned later these pickups are also stacked like a hotrail. This sounds just like the American deluxe for less than half the price. If you try one out, you won't be dissappointed!

  • @chicobolatilo yes , it does , and they're amazing pickups!
