Of your references, I only know Ghost in the Shell, I don't think GITS is really a trans-humanist film, I think it used the idea of cyborg bodies and cyber-brains to show our bodies and minds as possessions. The main point I got from Ghost in the Shell was that our soul or consciousness (I don't mean anything by those words, I only use them to describe an abstract idea) is all that really matters. One day robots and computers will do our jobs, fuel will be infinite. After that; what matters?
