There was also a minor feud in mid 1994 between Kwang and Adam Bomb right after Kwang's green mist cost Bomb his KOTR 94 qualifying match against 123 Kid which lead to Bomb turning face. They're obviously trying to sell their feud here, but the Lane/Monsoon make no mention of it.
Plus, I don't recall Bob Backlund wearing his red tights for very long after he turned heel in 1994 -- he seemed to stick with his blue tights until he stopped wrestling in the WWF in 1996. So ya...obviously this is 94
