    Thanks mate, I usually reply to comments but for some reason when the account got merged with the google plus one, every comment was gone.

    Reflections don't lengthen render times that much. It's common misconception. The GI and AO probably took the longest.

    Don't think so, since the GFX Buddy tutorial was created 7 months ago, and this video was uploaded 2 years ago. I came back here to check it out actually..

    Saw this video last year, decided to "reverse engineer" it, and was surprised to find a tutorial similar the other day..
