No offense to the gymnast, but I don't like the look of the one-armed giant or geinger. I'm glad they were devalued and that none of the top gymnasts today are doing those moves. I'm sure she spent a lot of time working on the skills, but to me it looks like one hand just slipped off the bar.
I had to scratch my head in disappointment at the FIG judges devalue of that giant one-arm swing Liu Xuan made. That's seems to be a new skill that is a new challenge for any other Uneven Bar Gymnast.
There must be many of those who'll agree with the female announcer, honestly for me I'm with her on this one.
That is awesome, and no way should it be devalued like that! If FIG wanted to discourage dangerous elements, they should've started decades ago, and they definitely shouldn't have introduced a new code that rewards difficulty so much. It's too late to stop gymnastics from going in that direction now.
