Hey I'm curious and I think this has to do with my visual impairment but whenever I see a strobe light like that my eyes helplessly twinge upward and then it causes me to blink but it doesn't hurt or anything. Do you still think it's bad for me to watch this?

what kind of sound is this! ?

My high school renovated starting in 1997 and was complete by 2000. I believe the original fire alarm system was Edwards single stroke bells but they were all replaced with the integrity. And those things were loud. Especially in the restrooms. I dont know who thought of horn/strobes in the restrooms. The strobes alone is all they needed. This horn/strobe looks somewhat like the integrity except the way the horn looks.

the older integrity?

There in my school too but scinse its my last year there I'm gonna miss them

They have these Edwards horn strobes mounted on the ceiling at the Dick's Sporting Goods at The Mall at Greece Ridge.

I almost got one from my school

These things are a HUGE pain to mount!

This is a nice sound i love the whistling screech in the backround Nice video
My elementary school opened with these back in 1997. They were so awesome. Scared the crap out of people though when they went off, because they echoed down the hallways.

They sound just like the good ol' mechanical horns, with that attention getting sound no one can mistake for any other alarm. However, these are actually speaker elements with sound drivers.

These were quite popular when EST came out with that God auful system of theirs, the IRC-3.
