  • as you can see, interestingly enough, you're a douche bag.

  • Does anyone know the measurements of the Kahr PM40’s dovetails? I want to install Truglo TFO sights on my pistol. They do not make them for Kahr, but they do make them for other dovetail sight pistols. Does anyone know another pistol that would have dovetails that would be close to Kahr? Thanks.

  • nice gun

  • Thnx, nice review on a great gun. My only disagreement is your complaint about the xtra mag. It's true that the 5 round mag is better for concealment. BUT, in the rare event that u need to reload, why is the longer mag a problem? At that point, concealment is not an issue, and neither is the "big glob" hanging out of the grip. I want all the rnds I can get - that one extra rnd might be the one that saves your life! So sure, I'll carry with the little mag, but ALL my xtras will be hicaps!

  • Pardon all the repetition repeat posts. I am not very computer savvy.

  • I have had my pm40 for about 3 years at least. At first I was not happy with it. The small gun with a large caliber bullet in it must be held very firmly. The inertia must remain in the gun. After many years of Bullseye shooting. I discovered that limpwristing a small gun with a large caliber round does not work well. After learning to hang on firmly I found the PM40 to be a very reliable and accurate gun. If you want to learn the gun, then get one. Can't go wrong.

  • I have had my pm40 for about 3 years at least. At first I was not happy with it. Failure to feed and not go into full battery after a shot or two. After sending it back to the factory I began to research the gun. Here is what I found out.

The mag follower had a few weaknesses in it. They were pretty much resolved by the factory and new followers were sent out to many of the owners.

The most profound advice given to me, which should be given to all Kahr owners, is that it is a small gun with

  • Yea, I like the idea of a longer second magazine. If you get to the point of having to use it your worries of concealability are long behind you. Just be happy that you're still able to shoot back and now you have an extra round. Oh, and the longer mag will be easier to seat! :)
