I make a visit to a Philippine Culture festival in Oji, Tokyo. There are a lot of kinds of foreigners in this city and they bring a lot of their home culture with them.

Music:

"The Israelites" by Desmond Dekker

  • No culture is completely 100% original. All cultures mix, whether now, or at some point in the past. Things get incorporated, and that then becomes part of the culture. Filipino's have culture.. lol. It's certainly a lot different at my girlfriends house, than it is at my own...

  • Oh, and the oldest standing college in all of Asia is in Cebu City. It was established in 1595 by the Jesuits. Its The University of San Carlos. You should read about your own culture before making such stupid blanket statements about hating it. I'm only saying this because it's MY culture. I've heard too many Filipino Americans make such blanket statements of saying how crappy their culture is. I don't believe that at all. Filipinos have grown to have such an Americanized perspective. Sad.
