Entirely agree with you; this video is to demonstarte pushhand so people will not see the power. In fact, the purpose of pushhand is to find out your and your partner's weak points; the stiff part so that you can remove it when practing;

not all power really look powerful think of the 1 inch punch since not gettin a full swing it still does critical damage...power is not what it seems even everything affects power
