Sakura Matsuri DC 2007

The Sakura Matsuri is a family-friendly festival and has something for everyone -- over 20 vendors of Japanese food, two beer gardens, 30 exhibitors of Japanese arts and culture, 15 vendors of Japanese products, and over 20 hours of live performances on three stages, including traditional and popular Japanese music and dance and martial arts demonstrations.

This festival isn't made for japanese, kit is made for us. They know this stuff becuase it is their culture...they are trying to share it ith us. Japan, is known to be very polite to foriegners and looks are mostly becuase of curiousty. Japan is a homegenous country. There is 98% japanese and 2% is mostly koreans. If you are respectful and open-minded there should be nothing to worry about..
