I know I don't upload as often as I did, I don't even make spoofs as often as I did. But I have just started my Alevels and I only have three full days off, which I have to use to get all the work from subjects done as well as jobs, and so find it hard to make videos.
Another reason is my lack of insperation to make them, I have been feeling rather unhappy lately and so far I haven't found out why. So, I can't sit and make one for long before I get unhappy.
So sorry about that - but this is your chance to make me feel better and see if something can kick start me into making a video.
And no, that isn't the challange.
The challange is to make a video to one of the songs by Immediate Music, in any style you want (although most of their music is either epic, or upsetting so comdey is out of the question here) and simply post it as a responce to this video.
And it is easy, the music is easy researchable on Youtube itself, and if you have the clips your on another easy stepping stone. The only problem is songs downloadable. I do, have about 5 songs, but some of my fave ones are only on youtube so far. But I do know of a way to download and use them. Or in my words, 'recycle' them.
I will be willing to download songs for people, if I have talked to them before or ask nicely. But I do not have the time for everyone, so if you look around youtube you will find a couple of ways I'm sure to get them if you need to use that method.
Clips allowed: Doctor Who and any spin offs
Top Gear and any programes they have appeared in if needs be for plot
Spirit
Naruto
Cats the musical
The Lion King and most Disney movies (ask first)
Wildlife clips (Documentarys, BBC motion gallery)
and anything else mentioned in the video.
Newly added: Pokemon, Princess Mononoke and Harry Potter.
Ending date: January 1st, 2009
Entrys: One per person/account
Other details: Everyone will be split into either WMM (Windows Movie Maker) or Sony Vegas.
I will properly rope my mum into helping me judge, since she has taken part in my youtube life for a while.
You can enter a video that is only a month old, if you ask me.
Prizes: Right, this is where it gets tricky. I shall make a video with the winners in, so that will be a round up prize for first, second and third in each catogory. They shall also have a reason why they won.
First: Will recive a description in the video, and a request from me, a comment on their page congratulating them and a mention on my own page in the desciption with linking to their account..
Second: A description in the video, a comment on their page congratulating them and a mention on my own page in the desciption with linking to their account.
Third: A description in the video and a link to their account on my page.
Seem fair?
I think that's it. Nothing else to report, only any questions I will try to get back to you. The reason it is been held for so long though, is some people may want to enter but can't for reasons only known to them. It also gives you time at christmas to make a video if your too busy now.
Song: Serenata (c) Immediate Music Challange
Clips: Doctor Who, Top Gear (c) BBC
The Lion King (c) Walt Disney
I own nothing but the idea in this video. I have made no profit, nor will the people who take part. I am, and so are they, only fans expressing love for what they use.
Hey, does Halo vids count, cos I can't rip my DVD's so I can't get the clips of the other stuff you mentioned. I onlt have clips of Halo and the Redwall Cartoon series.

I'll give this contest a try. :]
I plan on using "Rising Empire" to Spirit, but the song ends at 1:40. :/ Is it okay if it is that short?

Sure, that will be long enough. Anything over a minute is brilliant. :)
