  • I love that music. Companies nowadays want to make their games more realistic, better graphics, better sound etc etc. But i love that crappy sound, its beautiful. It takes me back to a simpler time.....[drifts away]......

  • @microblan Yeah back in those days it was frustrating to be stuck on a game. No internet, no strategy guide, no one to help you. But at the same time when you did finally beat it, you felt more satisfied and fulfilled. Unlike today's games where the walkthrough/strategy guide/ cheats are already out before the game even goes on sale.

  • I love this game and my old Game boy! It still works even after 23 years... testament to Japanese ingenuity. This was advanced technology back then. First Game boy was introduced in 1989 and already it had polyphonic stereo sound (I think 8 voices simultaneously were possible). Not all of the games were that good but some like Zelda were brilliant and gameplay was superior to most games nowadays. Too much violence in the games today... I miss Super Mario.

  • can someone help me when i try to play on the legend of zelda links awakening it breaks, i can see the people but not the background or floor if someone can give me an easy fix that would be great.

  • What's the track beginning at 2:48 till 3:02?

  • 3:05 - Startin up G-boy.. makes all the way through the map to that place :)

    Spooky and sad.

  • Luckily I still have mine and working well.

  • I have this game! I got it with my green Nintendo! :D

  • 3:51

That's my favourite one. I don't know why. xD

  • is there a world record like playing zelda in 2 and a halfe hour?

  • @hirschman23 I need no color or even 3D I just want my black & white GB version back...

  • I forgot how beautiful this game's music was, considering that it was barely a couple steps above MIDI tracks, that just makes it all the better. A real testament to the artists and masterminds who were in this stuff and their insane long-lost powers of mood-story-gameplay alchemy

I became the Ultimate Master Overlord of the universe when, after the 4th playthrough, I finally managed to beat this game (DX) with no game overs, fairies, or resets.

And then I played it some more afterward...
