BTW...I use an identical tent/ tarp set-up. Using my 1 man tent drops enough weight from a larger to allow the addition of a tarp to my kit. The tarp keeps the sun from overhating the rain fly in the summer. It helps lessen the sound of rain beating on the tent in a storm. It gives me a large shelterd porch in wet/snowy weather and it allows me to use the tent without the fly in hot-humid conditions.

I wish I was there with you as well (No, I'm not Gay). The reason that we 'eat this stuff up" is because we can't be there. While many watch the boob tube to escape the daily grind into a fantasy world of scripted adventure, those of us who watch youtube do it to escape to the 'real world' of nature when lifes demands prevent us from actually going. The vid is appreciated.
